Many are quick to paint Christians as evil because they know that we stand firmly on the biblical truth that homosexuality (along with adultery and fornication) is morally wrong. There was a time in America when we could say these things without any real repercussions. But times have radically changed.
Good works don’t cover our sins in the slightest. A multimillionaire giving $500 to a store may impress the media, but it doesn’t impress God.
The horror of mass murder has become a part of daily living in modern America, and it is clearly not going to slow down any time soon.
Context is everything — especially when it comes to our eternal salvation.
Consequently, we have the tragedy of someone who never has the assurance of salvation, because they've never heard a biblical presentation of the Gospel.
And as Christians watching life unfold, we don’t get stressed because we know the ending. We know that good eventually conquers evil.
Offensive though it may be, we must never waver in our testimony to this world — that Jesus saves from death and damnation in Hell.
Our Father has given us a cage to keep us from the enticement of sin. God forbid that we should ever gaze at the sinful pleasures of this world and long to be free from the confines of a life of cross-carrying and self-denial.
Is Putin the Prince of Rosh? Is he going to eventually unite with Iran and lead Russia and other godless nations into the much-talked-about Battle of Armageddon? We don’t know for sure, but time will tell.
