6 reactions to Trump's order barring men from women's sports: 'Sex is real and matters'
2. Chloe Cole
Detransitioner Chloe Cole shared her reaction Thursday to Trump signing the executive order, writing that the president “has done more for women and children in a few weeks than the democrat party has done in the last decade.”
“The left, under the guise of ‘feminism’ has slowly eroded and erased women’s rights, we are now winning them back,” Cole stated.
Cole has shared her story of how she became an outspoken advocate against allowing minors to take drugs or have irreversible body-mutilating surgeries. The detransitioner was a teenager struggling with various mental health issues when she started identifying as a boy. She was prescribed puberty blockers and testosterone at 13, and at age 15, she had a double mastectomy, an action she now regrets.
The advocate now uses her experience to warn others about the dangers of so-called “gender-affirming care.” In a 2023 lawsuit Cole filed against Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, the Permanente Medical Group and affiliated healthcare professionals, she accused the medical groups of performing a "mutilating, mimicry sex change experiment" on her when she was only a teenager.
According to the suit, she now suffers from "deep physical and emotional wounds, severe regrets, and distrust of the medical system."
